UZOCS is committed to accurate, fair, and transparent news curation. These editorial standards explain how we source, verify, and present the news on our platform.
1. Editorial Overview
UZOCS is a news aggregation platform committed to accuracy, fairness, and transparency. Our editorial standards govern how we select, present, and attribute the news content that appears on our platform.
We do not author original news articles. Instead, we curate content from established publishers and provide direct links to primary sources. Our editorial role is one of curation and organisation — not creation.
2. Source Selection
We source news from publishers who meet the following baseline criteria:
• Established track record of accurate, fact-based reporting • Clear editorial policies and correction procedures • Identifiable ownership and editorial accountability • Primary reporting, not secondary aggregation
We draw from a wide variety of publishers across the political spectrum, geographic regions, and media types. Source diversity is a deliberate editorial priority.
3. Accuracy & Verification
When a story appears to conflict with reporting from other credible sources, we flag it for review. We do not knowingly promote misinformation.
Where a story is contested, we present multiple source perspectives rather than elevating a single account. We believe readers benefit from seeing how different publishers cover the same event.
If we become aware that a story we have featured is later retracted or materially corrected, we will update or remove it from our platform.
4. Balance & Impartiality
UZOCS does not take political positions. We do not editorially favour any political party, ideology, country, or religion.
Our curation aims to balance coverage across perspectives — ensuring that a range of viewpoints is represented in our feeds. We apply this principle consistently across all categories including World News, Politics, Business, and Technology.
Opinion and analysis pieces are included in our feeds but are clearly sourced from their original publishers and not presented as UZOCS editorial positions.
5. Attribution & Credit
Every article on UZOCS is attributed to its original publisher. We display:
• The name of the publishing outlet • A direct link to the original article • The author name where available • The original publication time
We do not republish full article text. We display headlines, summaries, and images as previews, with all traffic directed to the source publication. Full credit belongs to the original publisher.
6. Images & Media
Images displayed on UZOCS are sourced from article feeds (media attachments or Open Graph metadata) as provided by the original publisher. Where no image is available, we use a representative category image.
We do not alter or misrepresent images. We do not combine images with headlines from different articles.
7. Corrections
If you believe content displayed on UZOCS is inaccurate, misleading, or improperly attributed, please contact us at contact@uzocs.com.
We will review all correction requests within 3 business days. Where a genuine error on our part is identified, we will correct or remove the content and, where appropriate, publish an acknowledgment.
8. Editorial Complaints
We take editorial complaints seriously. If you have a concern about our curation decisions, source selection, or how content is presented, please write to us at contact@uzocs.com with the subject line "Editorial Complaint."
Complaints will be reviewed by our editorial team and responded to within 5 business days. Where a systemic issue is identified, we will update our practices accordingly.
9. Editorial Independence
UZOCS editorial decisions are made independently of commercial or advertising considerations. No advertiser, sponsor, or commercial partner has any influence over which stories we surface, which sources we include, or how content is presented.
We do not accept payment for story placement or source inclusion. Our curation is driven solely by newsworthiness, accuracy, and relevance to our audience.
